An event of screams. A healing.
Scream as a weapon, scream as a ritual, scream as an encounter. We want to unbolt the casket of anger and allow it space to exist and swirl around us freely. Y: Roaaarrrrr makes space for the simplest expression of emotions, creating a shared space where emotions aren’t swept under the rug, but instead experienced in the company of others.
Composed event Y: Roaaarrrrr is grounded in the traditions of classical theatre. We are embracing one of the most archetypical elements of theatre - conflict. Its power, hence, persists in our everyday lives. The planet trapped in the ongoing crisis and disagreeing gestures; acts of resistance, revolt, and revolutions. Leading actors of history, chiefs and commanders, disparate relationship wires, power positions, all of the roles we play every day. Theatre and performative arts are always a game of sorts, but they have very tight relations with the grand narrative of time.
