The story of a true neurotic. Nightmare from Austria-Hungary floats over the idyllic hundred-tower city Prague. Collectively suppressed neuroses, psychoses and hysteria taking over. Interwar ghosts claw from the depths of the unconscious. Something happened. There is no more barrier against the spreading chaos. There's something in the corner and waiting. Perhaps a killer with a stick. And everything is such a misery.

Hermann Ungar, nicknamed "Dostoevsky of Moravia" or "Kafka of Boskovice", is one of the authors of the Prague Circle of Kafka Literature. Ungar's premature death in 1929 and subsequent war anti-Semitism plunged his person and work almost completely into oblivion. Only in 2002, thanks to the researcher and translator Jaroslav Bránský, Ungar's complete work was published under the title Novels and Lesser Prose.

Smoke is used during the performance.
Running time 120 minutes with a 15 minute break.
