The fable of another youth continues the investigation begun in 2011 with the performance “Il Tempo Scolpito” in a comic and ironic key, proposing a interwining between literature, philosophy and theatre form the novel by Miercea Eliade “another Youth”, the myth of the eternal return and the occasion of a second chance.

The story follows the experiences of the Italian Romanian protagonist Maria Piarulli , daughter of Italian immigrants in Romania at the end of 800.
At the age of 65 years, Mary is struck by lightning which, instead of killing her, gives her a new chance, a second youth. It is a dreamlike journey, suspended and subtle, towards the search and
the possible discovery of its own essence.
A fairy tale of the eternal reverse, epic and metaphysical, from the circular structure; a reflection on time and eternity.

The show is enriched by polyphonic and linguistic games and virtuosity, from the original live string music, elements that make it a surreal trait, where the most abstract themes, from metempsychosis, make it a surreal trait, where the most abstract themes,from metempsycosis to Indian esotericism, to eternal youth, meet the issues of immigration and cultural integration.
