Ambient icons. Acoustic reality.
Ensemble Klang Systematiek brings an evening dedicated to two influential voices in ambient music, Brian Eno and Gavin Bryars. Eno, a pioneering force in music production, is rarely performed in acoustic instrumental form — making this a unique occasion in the Czech Republic. The program features an acoustic interpretation of his work Discreet Music, offering a rare chance to hear it beyond its original electronic textures.
Bryars, who collaborated with Eno from the 1970s, brings a deeply human dimension with his renowned work The Sinking of the Titanic. The piece unfolds as a haunting musical narrative, inspired by the musicians who continued playing as the ship went down.
Together, these works create an immersive sound world where ambient textures meet instrumental storytelling, inviting listeners into a space of reflection and resonance.
The concert is open to all ages and takes place in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Forget traditional seating—you are free to move around the hall, choose your spot, and let the music surround you.
