A feast for the ears around one table.
Artist Magdalena Malinová is joining forces with the Veselé Chvíle choir. Together, they set the table for a late feast, full of vocal ingredients, songs, smiles, and intimate encounters. The gentle creaking of chairs, a sense of uncertainty, the clinking of glasses during a toast, silence. Each and every one of those who gathered will influence what we bring to life together.
This immersive performance, created specifically for the Kutná Hora Theater Festival, invites audience members to take a seat at a shared table.
Concept and performance: Magdalena Malinová & choir Veselé chvíle
VESELÉ CHVÍLE
The choir Veselé chvíle combines choral singing with site-specific theatre, creating music-theatre performances and productions in spaces that deserve to be brought back to life. The choir brings together actors, directors, choreographers, dancers, musicians, singers, scenographers, and other professionals from various fields.
MAGDALENA MALINOVÁ
Magdalena Malinová is a performer, dancer, and researcher. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Her work focuses on intimate and participatory formats rooted in hospitality, culinary practices, and everyday rituals. She explores the body as a sensory and imaginative tool for relating to what resists language - the unknown, the irrational, the emotional. Through subtle gestures and small-scale situations, she investigates how care, togetherness, and slowness can be cultivated as forms of resilience in times of constant acceleration.
