BIO
Kavkaz Widow is a performance artist, DJ, the ideologist, and the highest priest(ess) of Prague’s collective Temple Of. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, she is a proud mutt of South Kavkaz, Sephardic Jewish, Slavic, and Balkan heritage. This time, Kavkaz Widow will evoke the warmth of your grandma’s living room and your uncle’s car radio with pure folklore, retro pop, soul/ass-shaking tracks and timeless retro tunes across from Caucasus, Central Asia & beyond.
Fifi Pharaonic wears many titles: He is Prague’s male belly dancer and charismatic host, producer of Fiki Productions, drag shows and resident performer & DJ at Temple Of. He is taking over the decks to bring an authentic, non-commercial Arabic music experience. Expect underground North African hits, traditional Gulf rhythms, and the soulful Arabic tracks that shaped his journey. His sets are both a celebration and a love letter to the queer communities of the SWANA region (Southwest and Central Asia and North Africa).
La Zhenya is a Barcelona-based queer DJ who fuses her Caucasian & Slavic heritage with Mediterranean, Balkan and SWANA club sounds. Expect a mix of nostalgia, sassy divas, heartfelt electro and folkloric bangers, with a little nomadic fantasy on top.
